The project offers a graphic space to listen to and explore the suite for piano "Painting of an exhibition" by M Musorgski. The suite, which was written by the Russian musician after having visited the exhibition of the painter and friend V Hartman is composed by pieces that describe the pictures and their spatial arrangement. According to a some kind of inverse relationship to the composer’s work, the project creates a graphic environment starting from musical topics. This operation, though does not take us back to Hartman’s paintings but to a new scenario inside the exhibition area that shares only the topics of the single canvases and their spatial arrangement inside the exhibition.

A rolling in crescendo, than a true battle engaged between cutting, if you wish educated, notes of the piano and the tribal calls of the percussions/drums. The fundamental issues of mankind and of the world seem to break out from the notes of the concert for pianos and percussions Sz112 of Bartok.
The variation of the graphical elements and the development of a genetic algorithm represent a new multimedia context that in a way tries to add further stimuli to the meditation on existence, the origin of mankind and the world’s development.
